God's Faithfulness for His Great Name's Sake \\ 1 Samuel 12:1-25
SANDJAJA PRAWIRO
Key verse: 1 Samuel 12:22
Samuel, the prophet-judge of Israel, standing before the nation he had served since childhood, delivered his farewell address.
Nevertheless, it was not truly a farewell speech but rather a transfer of authority and a solemn charge to the people he loved.
He held up a mirror to the nation, inviting them to examine three interconnected realities of faithfulness – human faithfulness, human unfaithfulness and God’s faithfulness.
In the process, we will discover that faithfulness is not merely a moral virtue to be admired but a spiritual dynamic to be entered, a participation in the very faithfulness of God Himself.
